Even if you’re familiar with the many benefits of the aloe vera plant when used in its common cream and lotion form, you might still be somewhat surprised to hear that the plant has a wide range of positive health effects when taken internally as well. Aloe juice is now one of the most rapidly growing trends in nutritional and health supplements, as millions of people around the world daily discover the new truths surrounding this very old medical miracle. Sure, you can still rely on aloe vera to heal your skin burns, cuts, and scrapes. You can use it to alleviate your itching. It can even soothe and relieve some types of pain. To receive the maximum benefits aloe has to offer, however, you need to consider using it in its juice form.
Drinking the plant
The first thing you will probably have to do is get past the notion of drinking anything containing aloe. If you’re one of those people who have in the past managed to get a taste of aloe lotion, you no doubt remember it as something you wouldn’t care to experience again. Well, never fear, because even though both the lotion and aloe juice are derived from the same aloe gel, the juice manages to acquire a refreshingly enjoyable taste. Moreover, the aloe vera in juice form somehow encapsulates even more of the aloe plant’s many healing powers. All you need to do is drink several ounces of the aloe juice each day and you will experience a strengthened immune system, and a much enhanced sense of wellness and health.
The secret of aloe
Aloe vera’s many benefits have their origins in the entirety of the plant’s composition. With a host of vitamins, minerals, and amino acids, there is little reason to wonder why the aloe is now found in many places outside of its home continent of Africa. To get to the benefits, one need only crush the leaves of the aloe and collect the gel that escapes from the crushed plant. The gel is the source of all of aloe’s healing power, and it is this gel that is used as the base for every aloe product – whether lotion, cream, or aloe juice.
The many uses of aloe juice
Aloe juice has a wide range of real benefits, many of which have undergone intensive scientific scrutiny. More than that, however, is an almost infinite list of benefits that are claimed by users but which have not yet been confirmed in any formal studies. The bottom line seems to be that aloe juice can have a variety of effects for each individual, which can range from system detoxification to improved circulation and even digestive improvements. Perhaps just as important for any people is the fact that aloe in juice form still retains the benefits of its topical form, meaning that your cuts and other skin ailments still receive the aloe treatment.
Of course, aloe’s many properties include effects that are more controversial as well. Among these are reports of positive experiences in ulcer treatment, weight loss efforts, and even bowel movements. There are also yet undocumented reports that aloe juice is an effective source of treatment for skin cancer. These effects are, to date, still considered anecdotal, but no evidence has yet arisen to disprove them. The only sure way you will ever know exactly how you can be helped y aloe juice is for you to actually start using it within you own diet regimen.
